Construction

When the idea of converting this old build into residential units started to come together, I felt it was important to keep as much of the original framework as possible.
The design of the suites was laid out with the 6 original classrooms on the upper floor as the exterior walls of each suite.
The original size of the windows remained the same keeping as many as possible, bring an abundance of light into all living areas.

Design

The suites are spacious, bright and airy with 10 foot ceilings throughout.
Flooring runs through the whole loft area with no thresholds or transitions.
There are two large washrooms in each suite one with a step-in tub/shower unit and the other a walk in shower.
Neutral colors have been chosen for walls. flooring and cabinetry, with a subtle accent color to suit all color palates.
